Kevin
Kevin Brockway
Kevin Brockway comes to SECURA from Verisk/ISO where he was a Senior Loss Control Field Representative. His work included evaluating risks and hazards at various commercial business locations, determining building construction materials and square footage, evaluating fire protection for effectiveness, and mentoring new field staff. Prior to Verisk/ ISO Kevin spent 16 years as a Critical Care Paramedic Supervisor and Firefighter in the Southern Michigan area.

Kevin graduated from Columbia Southern University with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health. He holds a certification as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) from the NFPA.

Kevin resides in Sister Lakes, MI, where he spends time with his wife and three Corgis: Louie, Eli, and Theo. He also enjoys boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, and hiking. He is a huge fan of the U of M Wolverines, GO BLUE!

Jon Dorsett
Jon earned his bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety from Columbia Southern University and is a Graduate Safety Practitioner.

Before joining SECURA as a risk management consultant, Jon held roles such as loss control consultant for Cincinnati Insurance, field safety professional for AMERISAFE Insurance, firefighter/advanced EMT for Karns Fire Department, and a radio operator/instructor of water survival for the U.S. Marine Corps. The experience he has from this wide-ranging background allows him to share ways to provide a safer, controlled, and fruitful work environment.

Jon is currently pursuing his MBA, but when he’s not in school or work, he can be found hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Sam
Sam Parmley
Sam joined to SECURA in 2019 after spending time with Ahlstrom-Munksjo where he was a Health and Safety Intern. In this role, he focused on data analysis, improved training programs, and researched potential safety controls for the company. Prior to his internship with Ahlstrom-Munksjo, Sam also spent time as an intern with the Wisconsin Department of Administration/Bureau of State Risk Management where he created and improved safety compliance programs, analyzed injury data, led training, and conducted risk assessments.

Sam graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety. He holds the designation of Graduate Safety Practitioner.

In his free time, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors. He enjoys hiking, camping, and boating. Sam also likes to spend time with his family and his dog.
